A title pawn is a quick loan using your title as collateral instead of your credit. We do not run a credit check!

What do I need to qualify for a title pawn?

You must bring the title, your vehicle, government-issued identification or driver’s license, and proof of valid insurance. Also, bring proof of residence, proof of income, and a spare key.

Do I have to be employed?

Not necessarily. We can consider other sources of income such as unemployment, disability, or retirement benefits.

What if the title is not in my name?

We can assist with that; additional paperwork will be needed, but it’s a straightforward process.

How long does the process take?

Most loans are processed in less than 30 minutes.

How much money can I get?

Loan amounts depend on the vehicle's value and your ability to repay.

What types of vehicles are eligible for a title pawn?

Most vehicles from the model year 1986 or newer are eligible, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles.

Does Money Mizer conduct a credit check?

No, we do not conduct credit checks or employment verification; the terms of the loan depend solely on the item(s) pledged as collateral.

What is the Military Lending Act (MLA), and why do I need to supply my Social Security number (SSN)?

The MLA applies to active duty servicemembers, spouses, and certain dependents, limiting the interest rates on consumer loans. We check each pawn customer's SSN against the Department of Defense database to verify military status.

How do you determine the value of my items?

We base our loan-to-value ratio on the estimated wholesale value of the item, typically loaning 50% to 75% of that value.

What are your interest rates?

Our monthly interest rates range from 25% to 3%, corresponding to the collateral used and the borrowed amount.

What will the monthly payment be on my loan?

Your minimum monthly payment will depend on the amount you choose to borrow.

Will I have to pay additional fees for storage, insurance, and security?

No additional fees are charged; we include those costs in the monthly interest fee, except for a $2 lost ticket fee if the pawn contract isn't presented during redemption.

Will my items be safe?

All items are stored in fireproof, UL-rated vaults or secured facilities under 24-hour surveillance and are fully insured while in our possession.

How long do I have to pick up my pawned items?

The pawn contract is a 30-day loan, which can be extended for another 30 days as needed.

What if I just want to sell my items instead of getting a loan?

We offer both pawning and buying options. You can choose to sell your items outright when you visit us.
