What other metals do you buy besides silverplate?

We primarily buy silverplate and sterling items, but also accept pewter, copper, brass, and gold fill. However, we recommend not sending metals like lead, zinc, stainless steel, or aluminum, as their market prices are lower than shipping costs.

What happens to my items after you buy them?

After purchase, the items are generally shredded and refined, separating materials to be transformed into new products. Some items with historic value may be repurposed for crafts or art.

Who pays for shipping?

Shipping costs are covered by the customer, but we offer discounted UPS labels for shipments over 20 pounds of material or high-value items.

I only have one or two silver plated items. Is it worth it for me to ship them to you?

Shipping a small quantity likely won’t be financially beneficial due to high shipping costs. Consider donating or recycling them locally.

Do my silver plate items need to be polished or cleaned?

No, polishing is not necessary. We evaluate items based on their weight.

How do you determine what my items are worth?

We purchase items based on the material and weight, not their individual collectible value. The prices are influenced by the daily metals market.

What if I don't agree with what you paid for my item? Can you mail it back to me?

Unfortunately, we cannot return items after evaluation. However, we encourage customers to contact us for clarity on item values before shipping.

Can I send different materials in the same box?

Yes, you can. Please label and wrap higher-value items separately for careful handling.

How long does it take to get my payment?
